Suprisingly enough he traveled really well. Or at least I think he traveled well even though I've never really traveled with a baby before so I don't know what the norm is for traveling 3 month olds. He slept the whole time on the plane there and most of the time on the way back except for when he woke up to eat once. Brandon and I pulled down our tray tables and just laid him across them like a little bed. It was super cute and I wish I had gotten a picture of him like that.
It was great to see family again and be back in beautiful, green South Carolina. I really do miss it down there. If you think of the song, "Carolina In My Mind" by James Taylor, that is the feeling I have whenever I think about the South. It has it shortcomings, but the people are generally good, life feels slower, and the sunsets seem sweeter.
