Pictures have gotten more important to me since having Dallin. I have even started scrapbooking through a computer program to make a sort of year book of my family for each year. With Dallin turning 6 months in October I wanted to get some more pictures taken of him as well as some family pictures. I want to document the growth of our family as much as possible. We got these pictures taken by a local photographer and I think they turned out beautifully! My little boy is just too cute! We got the pictures taken when Grandma Lori was here so we were able to get some with her as well!

Uncle Chaz's Birthday and Grandma Lori Visits!
Brandon's brother, Chaz, had his birthday this month so he came over to open presents and to be with family to celebrate. He didn't know it, but while he was here, his fiance, Andrea, was getting a surprise birthday party put together for him too!
Tire chains from Lori.
A tent, tent stakes, and tent spray from Janet.
Dallin liked spending time with future-Aunt Andrea.
Brandon and I gave him magic cards... nerds. :)
The surprise party was a mustache party! Even Dallin grew one in honor of Chaz!
The mustache didn't stay on long though.
What a cute and nerdy couple. :)
Happy Birthday Chaz!
Then we were fortunate enough to be able to have Grandma Lori come for a visit! She missed Dallin so much she just couldn't stay away. It was fun to have her around helping out and playing with Dallin.
When Lori got here we sort of celebrated Chaz's birthday again so she could celebrate with us. This was fine with us because that just meant more cake!
Make a wish!
Got to love family.
Grandma Lori feeding Dallin some delicious green beans.
Daddy and Dallin after a bath. Look at that hair!
Aww so cute.
Grandma Lori with Dallin while we were running errands.
Grandma play time!
Chillin' with Uncle Chaz.
And just to make sure she didn't leave without a little gift, Dallin decided it would be a good idea to spit up on his Grandma. Hahahahahaaa :)

Pumpkin Carving, Ward Party, and Halloween
Well I can't believe October has come and gone already! I noticed the other day that the stores have decided to completely overlook Thanksgiving and jumped straight into Christmas. I think it's kind of ironic but I suppose I have no control over consumerism. Anyway, here is a peek at our doings from the end of October. When it got closer to Halloween we all got together and carved our pumpkins!
And then it was Halloween! We decided we have a kid this year so of course we have to take him trick-or-treating on his first Halloween! We went out with the Bybee's and before we left we had a lovely meal together of delicious chicken-tortilla soup - a new recipe, and a new favorite!
Such an excited group!
Dallin posing with his pumpkin. Do you see the similarities? haha
My pumpkin...
Brandon's pumpkin. I should have taken a picture of them all lit up. :(
Our ward had a Halloween party. It took forever to decide on a costume for all of us. We kept going back and forth between different things but in the end we decided on this because we thought it was a cute idea and really the most affordable option.
We are bank robbers...
And Dallin is the stash of cash! Hahahahahhahahaaa...
Dallin playing the "Eat the Donut Off the String Contest." Don't worry, he didn't really eat the donut, it was just cute.
Really playing the "Eat the Donut Off the String Contest".
Such a cute money bag!
Probably the coolest costume I've ever seen in my life. A lego man completely home-made.
Brandon and Collin playing darts.
Dallin got so tired he passed out on Nikki's shoulder hehe.

Awwww I love this picture.
Trick-or-Treat! We got so many compliments on our costume.
What are you looking at down there Dallin?
Back home! He had so much fun!
Dallin "eating" his candy.
Happy Halloween everyone!
