Pumpkin Carving, Ward Party, and Halloween

Well I can't believe October has come and gone already!  I noticed the other day that the stores have decided to completely overlook Thanksgiving and jumped straight into Christmas.  I think it's kind of ironic but I suppose I have no control over consumerism.  Anyway, here is a peek at our doings from the end of October.  When it got closer to Halloween we all got together and carved our pumpkins!
Such an excited group!

Dallin posing with his pumpkin.  Do you see the similarities?  haha

My pumpkin...

Brandon's pumpkin.  I should have taken a picture of them all lit up. :(

Our ward had a Halloween party.  It took forever to decide on a costume for all of us.  We kept going back and forth between different things but in the end we decided on this because we thought it was a cute idea and really the most affordable option.

We are bank robbers...

And Dallin is the stash of cash!  Hahahahahhahahaaa...

Dallin playing the "Eat the Donut Off the String Contest."  Don't worry, he didn't really eat the donut, it was just cute.

Really playing the "Eat the Donut Off the String Contest".

Such a cute money bag!

Probably the coolest costume I've ever seen in my life.  A lego man completely home-made.

Brandon and Collin playing darts.

Dallin got so tired he passed out on Nikki's shoulder hehe.

And then it was Halloween!  We decided we have a kid this year so of course we have to take him trick-or-treating on his first Halloween!  We went out with the Bybee's and before we left we had a lovely meal together of delicious chicken-tortilla soup - a new recipe, and a new favorite!

Awwww I love this picture.

Trick-or-Treat!  We got so many compliments on our costume.

What are you looking at down there Dallin?

Back home!  He had so much fun!

Happy Halloween everyone!
